Only 17 countries allow their citizens
to sponsor their same-sex partner or spouse as legal immigrants.
In the other 176 countries in the world,
gay and lesbian citizens have no right to live legally
together with their foreign partners. Committed partners
are for all intents and purposes legal strangers.

The Trevor Project operates the only nationwide, around-the-clock suicide
prevention helpline for gay and questioning youth. The Trevor Helpline,

A local support, education and advocacy organization. We are an all-volunteer
group made up of parents, family and friends of someone who is gay, lesbian,
bisexual or transgendered (GLBT).
Transgender Advocacy and Services Center
Working collaboratively with other organizations, the Transgender Advocacy
and Services Center will educate, advocate and build the capacity of
the San Diego community to provide quality health care, employment
opportunities, affordable housing and social support for transgender
individuals.
